On Good Friday we did Vivi's birthday party (was the only day we could do it during the school year when her friends could be there and Mom and Dad too). We had our little fiesta at the local big cat rescue rehab facility called InSync Exotics. Cool place, lots of lions and tigers and cougars oh my. At the beginning of the tour our guide told us that as we walked by the cages if a big cat turned its behind toward you and raised its' tail you should move left, or right of the end of the tiger as it was probably getting ready to "spray" you and that you should not run back as they can spray up to 9 feet backward.
About 30 minutes into our tour our young lady is telling us about Aurora the tiger, with her back to the tiger, when said tiger raises its' tail. All of the mothers yell "LOOK OUT!!" and children scatter screaming, leaving a very worried and startled young lady guide standing in the line of fire.
The tiger didn't spray her, but we were told to NOT DO THAT AGAIN and had to practice moving to the left and right a couple of times.
Has it really been a year?

That was a fun day. Mia is still talking about the lions and tigers and railroad and dog.
