This is NOT What We Meant When We Said "White Christmas"

So as you may or may not have heard by now, on my drive back to Norman, from Dallas, my car took a detour ... right into the middle of the median on I-35 (more details on that to follow later). When I got back to Norman last night, though, the roads were pretty much cleared. All except for Stinson Street, the long road that leads up to my apartment complex. No, no, this road is completely covered in snow, and hasn't even been TOUCHED by a snow plow of any kind.

Well, neither has the parking lot of my complex. Cars are stranded and abandoned all over the parking lot. Somehow, my car (bless it's soul) managed to maneuver through the entire lot without getting stranded, but I'm not taking any chances. My roommate's car (which is actually much lower to the ground than mine is anyway) is completely stranded, and our efforts last night to try to free it were unsuccessful. So for now, I'm parked just a little ways down from my building, on a patch of ground that has miraculously no snow or ice. While this video doesn't quite show you the entire extent of this parking lot circus, it kind of gives you an idea.
